Release Notes for Pencil 1.2

Version 1.2 includes alot of underlying improvements, some of them can be visible to users. We are summarizing the changes towards the 1.2 release:

• Object Snapping
  Starting from 1.2, Pencil supports snapping from objects to objects. Snapping is applied for edges and object center. Additional custom snapping points can be defined by Stencil developers.
   
• Floating Collection Pane
  The left side collection pane can be made floated to save space for the canvas. This is useful for users with small screen.
   
• Sketchy UI Stencil
  The sketchy UI stencil is now included in Pencil by default. This collection helps create UI design in a sketch-like style. which is good for creating UI prototyping.
   
• Option Dialog
  This new feature visualize settings to customize the application behavior. Prior to 1.2 the only way to modifiy the settings is via the advance about:config style interface.
   
• Page Background Color
  Page can be set to a specific background color.
   
• Stencil Filter in Collection Pane
  Stencils in the collection pane can be search using a filter box.
   
• Status Bar
  The new status bar has been added to visualize the internal progress of Pencil activities.
   
• Bug Fixes
  A lof of bug fixes have been done in this release, please checkout the update logs for more details.
